Following her intuition, Tamina began dancing at the age of 6. By the time she was 8, she had received full scholarships at Toronto’s Interplay School of dance where she received training in Hip-hop, Jazz, Irish, Ballet, and Pointe. This fusion of dance styles in combination with Tamina’s "Diva- flair" is what helped to create Tamina’s unique presentation of dance that she has been teaching for the last four years, in all levels.
A six-time “threat” (Dancer, Choreographer, Singer, Rapper, Actress and Model), Tamina’s dance highlights include:
"So You Think You Can Dance Canada" Top 16, the movie "Disney’s Camp Rock" starring the Jonas Brothers, commercials (Zantac "Hot Stuff", Disney’s High School Musical 2, America’s Best Dance Crew<, Bell “Zipline), dancing for Canadian Recording artists Keshia Chante(Solo Mobile Tour/City TV’s New Year’s Eve Bash), Danny Fernandez (City TV’s New Year’s Eve Bash)and Massari, corporate clients Toyota(Bahamas), Mac Cosmetics, DSquared /TIFF "Gold Fever" , dance appearances on Much-on-Demand and much more .
